We would like for this space to become a collection for anyone and everyone to share a letter, written memory, or document from Ben’s life that has sentimental value. As time passes we would like to have a collection for Ben’s family- Cora, Beckett, Megan, Gary, Dar, Sarah, and Liz- to visit and remember the best of Ben.

If you would like you own letter, written memory, or document added to this collection please email it to [email protected] to be uploaded.

Ben was an accomplished soccer player, starting on club teams at five years old. He played high school ball, both on the Junior Varisty and Varsity teams at Madison West High School.

His high junior varsity team, accomplished an unbeatable record of 23 wins, no ties, and no losses. To make it more amazing, they played the top teams in Wisconsin. They tallied 138 goals and allowed only 9.

His senior season at Madison West, was capped by being the leading scorer for one of the top teams in Wisconsin. He lead the team in goals and shone brightest in the biggest games. In the sectionals, he scored all four of his teams goals, while playing most of the minutes. He was also the leading assists maker for the team, something he was always proud of.

He played from an early age filled in wherever he was needed most. He was a tenacious defender, high scorer and exceptional goal keeper. But above all, he was a team mate, who always raised the game of everyone around him.
